Six from RCS earn state Academic Excellence accolades
Six seniors will receive New York State Scholarships for
Excellence based on their academic achievements at RCS.
The students won scholarships of $500 to $1,500 per year for
colleges or universities located in New York State.
Awarded by the state Board of Regents, the scholarships are
for students who will become full-time college students
only.
The students recognized and their scholarship amounts are as
follows:

Zoee Ostrander, $500

Andrew Philpott, $500
“This is an excellent honor that recognizes the hard work
and diligence of these students,” said RCS High School
Principal Hakim Jones.
