When RCS
senior Jamie Breedlove walked across the stage of the
Empire State Plaza Convention Center on Saturday,
she did something that has come naturally to
her for the past four years - attended a school
function.
Breedlove, who has been
involved in countless organizations including the
National Honor Society,
was honored Saturday for achieving perfect
attendance throughout the four years of high school.
For the math
wizards out there, that means Breedlove attended 720
days of school without missing time because of a
cold, flu or even a doctor's appointment.
"Her dedication to
learning and her ability to stay healthy is a
remarkable accomplishment," said
Assistant Superintendent Diane Albano, Ed.D.
Breedlove, who will
graduate with classmates during a 9 a.m. ceremony
on Saturday, plans to attend Fitchburg State College
in Massachusetts the fall.
