Ms. Planck’s 2^nd Grade Supply List

2008-2009

·        1 box baby wipes or refill (for quick clean ups)

·        crayons and colored pencils                                                                              

·        erasers            

·        1 pair scissors

·        4 PLASTIC folders with pockets, any color; please label, with child’s name, as follows:

                *Take home folder

                *Math folder

                *Writing Workshop

                *The extra folder can be left blank

·        FOR WRITING WORKSHOP: 2 blue pens, 1 red pen, 1 green pen, one pen any other color you would like to write with

·        tissues

·        4 hard cover marble composition notebooks (labeled with name and *Reading Workshop, *Writing Workshop, *Math, extra notebook left blank)

·        PENCILS-These will need to be replenished throughout the year!

·        Pencil sharpeners with covers

·        Glue sticks- These will need to be replenished throughout the year!

·        1 package wide ruled loose leaf paper

·        old shirt to use as an art smock

·        pencil/crayon box for storage

·        shoe box, with child’s name on it, to store extra supplies

·        1 package index cards, any color-We will make multiplication flash cards at the end of the year

·        3x3 post-it notes
