Pool Rules

The Maximum number of bathers who may use the swimming pool at one time:170

Pool Hours of operation 5:00am to 10:00pm

STARTING BLOCKS

Use of the starting blocks is prohibited except during competitive swimming or training activities.

POOL RULES

No swimming when Lifeguard is not on duty. . Children less then 16 years of age must at all times be accompanied by an adult while at the pool

Pollution of the swimming pool is prohibited. Urinating, discharge of fecal matter, expectorating or blowing the nose in the pool is prohibited

Use of starting blocks is prohibited except during competitive swimming or swimmer training activities

1. Swimmers under 18, must be tested for skill by pool staff before being allowed in deep end.

2. Showers are required before entering the pool.

3. No Diapers: Children must be toilet trained or wearing approved swimming apparel before entering pool

4. No running or horseplay

5. No food, drink or gum allowed.

6. No glass containers allowed in pool area.

7. No radios or other electrical devices on pool deck.

8. No street shoes on the pool deck.

9. No two-piece suits.

10. No floatation devices in the pool except for supervised instructional purposes.

11. No hanging on the lane lines

12. School equipment is not to be used without permission of Lifeguard.

13. All other RCS School District rules pertaining to conduct are in effect.

Lifeguards are responsible for everyone’s safety and have the authority to make decisions in absence of a rule or unsafe conditions.  The decision of the Lifeguard is final.
