RCS blood drive collection to save more than 240 lives

More than 240 lives will be saved by the donations gathered at RCS' November 12 blood drive, the American Red Cross reported on Wednesday.

Red Cross officials told the High School Student Government Organization - which sponsored the drive - that 98 donors turned out for the event, surpassing the goal of 95. The donors supplied enough units of blood to save 242 lives, the Red Cross stated.

The High School Student Government Organization will conduct a another blood drive in the spring.
