Seven children afflicted
with AIDs will benefit
this Christmas from the
generosity of RCS Middle
School students.
The students – members
of
the Middle
School Student Council
and the school’s Family,
Career and Community
Leaders of America Club
– donated on Thursday
$1,200 worth of toys and
gifts to Albany Medical
Center’s Children’s
Hospital. A
representative of the
hospital picked up the
donations early Thursday
morning.
“This is a great way
for the students to
learn about good
citizenship, civic
responsibility and even
money management, since
they have to stick by a
budget when purchasing
the gifts,” said Teacher
Alice Lammly.
