Students delay start of
the break to help
region’s hungry
A group of RCS
elementary school
students will delay the
start of their holiday
break by several hours
in order to help the
Capital Region’s hungry.
The students – members
of the Pieter B.
Coeymans Elementary
School Student
Government – will spend
Friday evening
collecting financial
donations at Crossgates
Mall for the Regional
Foodbank of Northeastren
New York. The effort is
part of the Foodbank’s
23rd Annual
Holiday Hunger Appeal.
