Girl's Tennis concludes 'phenomenal' year

The girl's tennis team recently celebrated their year with a banquet at Yanni's Too, where Coach Karen Miller praised this year's team and awarded each member with a NYSPHSAA Section 2 patch, along with a tennis pin.

This year, the RCS girl's tennis team had a phenomenal year on and off the court. 

Off the court the team was recognized for academic excellence from the NYS Public High School Athletic Association.  Throughout the season, the girls maintained a team average of 90.4 for the Fall semester.

On the court, RCS placed second in the Colonial Council ending its season 6-1 in the council and 6-4 overall, and going to team sectionals, making it to the second round. Their best season since 2001.

There were no seniors on the team this year, so the team will back in the Fall even stronger.
