RCS to host Special Olympics meet
For the second year in a row, the RCS Aquatics Center will host Special
Olympics athletes from across the Capital
Region.
Approximately 50 swimmers and an equal number of
volunteers will descend on the pool Sunday to
compete in the first meet of the season for the
Spcial Olympians, Aquatics Director Dave Burns
said.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the meet
will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Last year’s
event, Superintendent Vicki Wright said, “was a
very proud moment for our school and the entire
RCS community."
The meet is open
to the public.
