PTSO seeks volunteers, officers

Parents of middle and high school students are being sought to take an active role in the combined Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO).

PTSO Secretary Deb Barkman said that the organization’s five officers will resign at the end of the school year and new volunteers must come forward to fill the vacancies.

“In order to continue the PTSO, new officers must be elected,” Barkman said.

All parents of middle and high school students are encouraged to attend the next PTSO meeting on Feb. 27, 7 p.m. in the High School Library Media Center.

Additionally, Barkman said a co-chair for the upcoming middle school book fair is needed. The fair is scheduled to run May 12 though May 15 and assistance is needed.
