Summer may be a distance memory, but when warmer temperatures return to the area, students, parents faculty and staff will have a nice place to eat their lunch at A.W. Becker Elementary School thanks to the generosity of area cub scouts.

Youths in Cub Scout Pack 81, Den 3 built and donated a picnic table to the school this month.

The youths, who worked under the guidance of den leaders Kim Moore and Loreen Racht, spent a day building the table which is now located on the school's playground.

Students taking part included Jacob Hotaling, Patrick Moore, Colin Hummel, Seamus Mooney, Michael Jones, James Shanley, Dominic Racht and Anthony McElligot.
