Dozens
work to
create
Quazimodo
Dozens
of RCS
students,
faculty
and
staff
members
and
parent
volunteers
are
working
to bring
Broadway-worthy
performances
of a
classic
tale of
love to
the RCS
stage
this
weekend.
Thirty-four
RCS
students
and
parents
have
joined
faculty
members
and
Drama
Club
advisors
Mark
Patterson,
Georgi
Callaghan
and Tina
Grant in
preparing
for the
Friday
and
Saturday
performances
of
Quazimodo.
The show
is a
modern-day
version
of the
classic
Hunchback
of
Notredame.
Both
performances
begin at
7:30
p.m.
Rehearsals
have
taken
place
nearly
daily
for much
of the
past
month -
including
a
rehearsal
on
Saturday,
Feb. 2 -
as the
students
learned
their
roles
and
volunteers
joined
students
in
creating
a set
and
costumes
that
reflect
15th
century
France.
'It's
been a
tremendous
effort,"
said Ms.
Callaghan.
