Parents and Guardians of Eighth
grade students:
The combined administrative and counseling staffs of the middle
and high school would like to remind you of our orientation
program for students moving into RCS High School this fall.
During the March 13th Conference Day, the 8th
grade students who would normally be dismissed from school that
half day will remain on campus to participate in orientation
activities at the High School.
These activities will include meeting their high school
counselor, discussing graduation requirements, choosing their
elective course, touring the high school, and listening to the
Deans and student leaders discuss “life in the high school.”
It
is planned that students will receive a mini-schedule for the
different blocks of time in order to hold each of the sessions
for between ten to thirty students at a time so the information
and interaction can be more personalized.
If
you have any questions about this program, please contact the
high school or middle school guidance office.
We
look forward to meeting the Class of 2012.
Sincerely,
Ms. Elizabeth Santa Barbara
Ms. Pamela G. Black
