Students and faculty to wear pajamas to school
TODAY
Elementary school
students and faculty at RCS donned their war pajamas
when heading to school on Monday as they took part in a celebration of reading and Dr.
Seuss.
The students at Pieter
B. Coeymans Elementary School kicked-off a
month-long celebration of literacy with a day-long
celebration that included parent volunteers reading
throughout the school, students, faculty and staff
wearing pajamas to school and other literacy
activities.
During two assemblies,
the faculty members read to the students while
illustrations appeared on an over-head projector.
During March, students
will take part in a host of other reading activities and a
poster making contest celebrating the works of Dr.
Seuss.
