SAT prep course being offered
The RCS
Continuing Education Program is offering a SAT
preparatory course just in time for those taking the
assessment this spring.
The
12-hour course being held on Saturdays from 12:00 noon
to 3:00 pm in the high school room 31. The dates are
March 8, 15, 29 and April 5. The fee is $175.
Denise Pinson, who has a
master's degree in secondary mathematics education,
is teaching the course.
An ACT Test Prep
course is also being offered on Monday evenings from
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in same location. This is an
eight-hour course for $100. The dates are
March 3, 10, 17 and 31. Fewer students take the ACT
than the SAT, but each year the number taking the
ACT grows.
