RCS to take budget discussion on the road

District officials will make a number of presentations on the 2008-09 school year budget proposal over the coming weeks.

Superintendent Vicki Wright or another district representative is scheduled to appear at the following meetings to offer a synopsis of the proposed 2008-09 school year budget proposal. The presentation at the May 14 meeting in New Scotland is dependent on the agenda of that meeting.

Check the RCS website – www.rcscsd.org - and the budget information center for other meetings.

The board is scheduled to finalize the budget at its April 2l meeting. The district-wide budget vote is May 20.

• April 23 - Bethlehem Town Board, 6 p.m. at the town hall.

• April 28 - Coeymans Town Board,  7 p.m. at the town hall.

• May 6 -  Ravena Village Board, 7 p.m. at the village hall.

• May 12 – New Baltimore Town Board, 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.

• May 14 – Tentative – New Scotland Town Board, 7 p.m. at the town hall.
