Facilities Director Gene Doane
reported that three of his operations and maintenance staff
members have received training in roof repair and will use their
new skills to save the district funds.
The trio - Carmen Frangella,
Ralph Delmonico and John Brown - attended a free seminar hosted
by a roofing company and will use their skills to tend to the
at-times leaky roofs of the district's seven buildings.
"This should save us a ton of
money," Doane said.
Doane also reported that work
on the wash bay of the bus garage and waste oil burning furnace
in the garage is complete.
