Mark your calendars for these important budget dates

Residents of the RCS school district should mark these important budget dates on their calendar.

• April 21 - The Board of Education is scheduled to approve a final draft of the budget proposal during its 6 p.m. meeting in the high school library media center.

• May 12 – The Board of Education will conduct a public hearing, 7 p.m. in the high school library media center.  

• May 20 – District-wide budget vote, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the high school.

Additionally, there are several opportunities for budget information to be shared. District representatives are scheduled to be at the following meetings to make Brief budget presentations:

• April 23 - Bethlehem Town Board, 6 p.m. at the town hall.

• April 28 - Coeymans Town Board,  7 p.m. at the town hall.

• May 6 -  Ravena Village Board, 7 p.m. at the village hall.

• May 12 – New Baltimore Town Board, 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.

• May 14 – Tentative – New Scotland Town Board, 7 p.m. at the town hall.
