M.S. to host poetry café

Middle School students will showcase their poetic talents on May 29 as they open the RCS Poetry Café for one night only.

The café, which will be located at the Middle School Library, 2025 Rte. 9W in Ravena, will feature readings of student-created poems, as well as those written by notable authors.

“Come listen as our students read both original and favorite poems in a café setting,” said teacher Darlene Stott.

Also during the event refreshments will be offered by students in the family and consumer sciences classes.

The café will be open from 7 to 8 p.m.
