The Board of
Education recently adopted the 2008-09 regional BOCES
calendar, but work is still ongoing on the RCS calendar for
next year.
RCS Human Resources
Administrator Greg Chase said the district must still
negotiate the calendar with a bargaining unit before the
board can adopt a 2008-09 school year calendar.
As tentatively
proposed, the school year will begin on Sept. 3.
