Seniors to mark end with a colorful celebration – Chalk-A-Palooza
RCS seniors will
mark the closing month of their final school year with a
colorful celebration –Chalk-A-Palooza.
The students will
transform the bland sidewalks around the high school into a
colorful display of pictures and designs during the May 21
event. The Chalk-A-Palooza named owns up to the fact that
students will use chalk and hairspray to create their
designs.
At the conclusion
of the day, all seniors will judge the designs and vote on
which senior or senior team should earn the prize. So far,
more than 20 designs have been submitted for review for the
day. The day will then conclude with an ice cream party.
It is the
first-ever event for RCS, which this year has tried a number
of new events for the senior class. Other original
activities include the senior symposium and the offering of
a senior eating area in the cafeteria.
