Twenty-five RCS
High School students were inducted into the National
Honor Society during a recent ceremony.
In front of
family, friends, faculty, administrators and school
board members, the sophomores and juniors were
presented with membership cards and recognized for
their academic pursuits.
The strict
standards of the National Honor Society include
maintaining an average of 90 or greater,
participating in at least 15 hours of community
service annually and maintaining an active school
life.
Additionally, the
students must refrain from disorderly conduct. A
comprehensive survey is even sent to all high school
faculty and staff to evaluate the qualities of those
recommended for induction, with a five-member
faculty council determining the final list of
inductees.
