Children cared for children during a school
and life lesson on Thursday at RCS Middle School.
Students in Alice
Lammly’s Family and Consumer Sciences class took
care of infants, toddlers and preschool
students during two morning sessions.
The seventh grade
students ran a “mini day care center”,
complete with a craft activity, song/movement
activity, free play time and a story time for their
young charges.
The younger children were provided by faculty, staff and family members.
"It’s a great opportunity
for the students to see what is really involved in
caring for children,” said Lammly.
