Update - The classroom sessions for
this program will now be conducted in the high school
distance learning room which is through the library.
RCS' summer Driver's
Ed program to put
students on the path to motoring success and safety
RCS will
again offer a summer Driver's Education Program to
students. Classes will
run from July 1 through August 13.
Scheduled
through the district's Continuing Education
Program, the program is open to 34 students who must be
over the age of 16 and have a valid New York State
Learner's Permit. Students must also be under the age of
21.
Class spots will be assigned on a
first-come, first-serve basis. All classes will offered
in the middle school large group room (LGR)
Registration
will close on June 24 and be handled through the
continuing education office at the high school.
Registration forms can be obtained in the high school
guidance office or the continuing education office in
the high school cafeteria kitchen. Additionally,
registration forms are located in the Spring Education
Guide available on the continuing education page of the
RCS website -

A mandatory meeting will be
conducted at 6 p.m. on June 24 in the middle school LGR
to review the course and select driving times. Students
and parents should attend the meeting.
