High school students
open a new chapter on generosity with donation to
Children's Hospital
A group of
RCS High School students opened a new chapter on
generosity this week with the donation of new
children's' books to the Children's Hospital at Albany
Medical Center.
The students
- members of the high school's Student Volunteer Group -
donated approximately 50 books to the hospital, said
Club Advisor Gloria Foley, who is an English teacher in
the high school.
The students
collected the books throughout the spring.
It was the
second time this semester a high school club has made a
donation to the hospital. Earlier, students in Foley's
Creative Writing class authored and illustrated their
own books that were later donated to the young patients
of the hospital.
