$2.35 million in upgrades to the district’s four schools
designed to boost energy
efficiency and improve the health and safety of those in the
buildings. This would be funded at almost no cost to
taxpayers entirely through a one-time state aid program that
covers the local costs of school projects.
Proposition 2 - $390,000 to replace the
roof and install a more efficient boiler and fuel island at
the bus garage. This is not eligible for EXCEL aid, but is eligible for state aid.
Proposition 3 - A non-binding election for the ninth
seat on the Board of Education.
