The
nine-member RCS Board of Education will
meet regularly on Tuesdays, rather than
Mondays, during the 2010-11 school year.
Exceptions are made to avoid conflicts
with religious holy days, state and
national conferences or extended recess
periods.
The
meetings begin with a closed Executive
Session at 6 p.m. followed by an open
meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m. Location
unless otherwise noted on the agenda is
the High School Library.
Meetings
may also be held at the various school
buildings and in those cases, advance
notice of the meeting is given on this
Web site. The Board of Education holds
special meetings as needed.
Board of
Education members are elected to
three-year terms. Elections are held
each year on the third Tuesday in May.
Polls are open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the
district's high school.
