Board of Education Profile: Scott Hughes, President

Scott Hughes was elected to his third term in May 2009. He is the current board president.

Scott Hughes has a BA in political science from SUNY Binghamton and an MBA from the College of Saint Rose. He has worked for 11 years at First Health Services, where he directs an operating budget of over $14 million and oversees 140 employees. Hughes served two terms on the RCS board, including two years as vice president. He also chaired several board committees. Hughes and his wife Denise are the parents of three RCS students: Sarah, Emma and Noah.
