This program is
available to RCS students and is offered through the
Capital Region BOCES services. New Visions provides
advanced academic training combined with on-the-job
experiences for students in medical, legal and other
professions.
RCS Scholars
For grades 4 and 5
students who have shown high ability in English
Language Arts that is at least four grades levels
above their peers and Math that is at least two
grade levels above their peers. The students meet
with the scholar's teachers for a half-day each
week.
REACH/Enrichment Program
The REACH program
provides enrichment for students in grades 3-5 for
high ability learners.
University in High School Program
The University in
High School Program provides high performing High
School students with an opportunity to earn college
credits while completing challenging academic
courses.

VO-TEC/BOCES
Programs

A variety of
vocational programs are available for all
students during their junior and/or senior
years in high school. Seniors may also
qualify for a "full-day" internship program
through the Albany BOCES in the areas of
health, government, communications, and
business. |

guidance office. It lists and describes all
of the programs that are offered. Students
and parents should speak to their school
counselor regarding program options. |
