Re:     Graduation Information

 

Listed below is information regarding graduation and all other senior events!

 

1.                  Chalk-A-Palooza:  is on Wednesday, May 21st. Remember your ideas must be approved by Ms. McHugh, Ms. Heiner or Ms. Teale by Wednesday, May 14th.

 

2.                 Senior Trip – will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 6 Flags New England.  Time: Charter bus leaves the Senior High @7:30 a.m. sharp!   ALL STUDENTS MUST RIDE THE BUSES TO AND FROM THE PARK.  No Student is allowed to drive to this event! Open containers will not be allowed on the bus.  The buses will be leaving the park at approximately 6:00 p.m. and arrive back at the Senior High at 8:00 p.m. Only students who have purchased a ticket may attend. Additionally, tickets are no longer available.

 

3.                 Baccalaureate Service – will be held at the Grace Covenant Church located at 14462 US Route 9W in Ravena on June 12th at 6:30 p.m.

 

4.                 Caps and Gowns- will be available ONLY at the Graduation rehearsal on Friday, June 26th.

 

5.                 Graduation Rehearsal – is scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. (THIS IS THE ONLY REHEARSAL). This rehearsal is mandatory!!  All seniors should report to the gymnasium upon arrival to school for line up information and instructions.

 

6.                 Class Picture – will be taken on Thursday, June 26,2008 at Noon.  Seniors should bring their caps and gowns and gather in the gymnasium for line up.  Pictures cost $11.00 each.  If paying by check, please make the check out to Lifetouch.  PAYMENT MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME THE PICTURE IS TAKEN.  No orders will be accepted after that time. Those who order and pay for a class picture will have their picture mailed to them after graduation.    PLEASE HAVE THE EXACT AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THE ENVELOPE PROVIDED WITH YOUR NAME ON IT - WE CANNOT MAKE CHANGE!!!

 

7.                 Graduation Day:  Commencement ceremonies will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. at the Convention Center in Albany.  ALL SENIORS MUST RIDE THE BUS TO GRADUATION.  PLEASE REPORT TO THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BY 6:45 a.m. THE BUSSES WILL LEAVE @ 7:00 a.m. SHARP.
