PBC takes part in NYS Senate’s Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration

Wall of thankful posters (Dec. 6, 2011) PBC students recently took some time in art classes to express what they are thankful for over the past year. The school submitted entries to the New York State Senate’s Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration Showcase.

Students in grades K-6 were encouraged to submit their original essays, poetry or art work for inclusion in the showcase. The theme of the Thanksgiving Day Celebration is “What are you thankful for?”

All entries will be published in a free, downloadable online book. Participating students will also receive a special certificate from Senator Neil D. Breslin as well.
