High School Students Recognized for AP Exam Success
Twenty-three RCS High School students were recognized
at the Sept. 18 Board of Education meeting for their success on Advanced
Placement exams completed in May of 2012. Each of these students scored a
three, four, or five out of five on these exams. Students who scored a three
are considered to be qualified to receive college credit or advanced
placement in the examination subject upon their enrollment in college.
Student who received a four are considered to be well qualified, and those
with a five are highly qualified. These successes acknowledge a lot of hard
work and perseverance in college-level coursework. Most students will be
additionally recognized for this achievement upon their admission to the
college of their choice.
