FCCLA Members Walk for Sjogren's Research

(October 19, 2012) On Saturday, Oct. 13, six members of RCS Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) participated in the Sjogren’s Walk at Colonie Center.

Members Michael Jones, Kate Houghtaling, Becca Young, Caitlin Bianca and Jasmine Gladney and Emma Huges walked to raise funds and awarenessl.

They raised over 57 dollars for Sjogren’s research. Sjorgren’s is a chronic autoimmune disease in which a person’s white blood cells attack their moisture-producing glands.

Today, as many as 4 million Americans are living with this disease.
