AW Becker wins Energy Star certification

The A.W. Becker Elementary School, part of the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District, has been awarded Energy Star certification for 2009, one of fewer than 700 schools nationwide to receive this designation.

PBC, middle school sell more than 200 angels to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation

A limited number of angels are available for $1 until 12/23. See Ms. Conover in the PBC PE office or Ms. McClave in the middle school PE office to purchase an angel.

New elementary schedule starts January 4

Under the terms of the agreement, students will arrive at A.W. Becker and Pieter B. Coeymans elementary schools at 8:45 a.m. starting January 4, 2010, which is 15 minutes earlier than the current start time. Also, students at the two elementary schools will be released on Fridays at 3:15 p.m. instead of at the current 3:00 p.m. teacher release time.
