Natural Helpers students to entertain members of Gilda’s Club

Members of the RCS Middle School Natural Helper’s Club  will live up to their club’s name on Jan. 29 when they help children in need from across the Capital District.


Fundraiser for ill teacher draws huge crowd, donations

Donations are still being collected.


District to host `MySpace’ and ‘Facebook’ information night next week

In the wake of several incidences of internet crimes against area youth, RCS will conduct its second information night next week on teenage WebPages, how youths use places like MySpace and Facebook and what dangers those sites pose to youths and others.


Budget Advisory Committee to meet again on Monday

The RCS Budget Advisory Committee (B.A.C.) will meet for the second time on Monday, Jan. 28 in the District Office Building on Thatcher Street in Selkirk.


Work scheduled to start in the summer on RCS upgrades

Work is expected to begin this summer on the school renovations and upgrades approved by RCS voters in October.


Students create children's books for Albany Medical Center patients

A group of RCS High School students are authoring and illustrating books they will present to Albany Medical Center Children’s Hospital.


A pair of A.W. Becker students demonstrate a high-speed twirl during the  after-school ballroom dancing program at the school on Tuesday.
