WBE Welterweight Boxing Champion Liz Mooney visited A.W. Becker Elementary School on Tuesday to thank the third grade students in Janice Burriesci’s class for their letters of encouragement and to show off her new championship belt.


RCS outlines holiday concert schedule

There are numerous upcoming opportunities for holiday music aficionados to enjoy the tunes of the season as performed by RCS musicians.


RCS fields scholar athletes

Five fall teams qualified for prestigious New York State Scholar Athlete Team Awards, Athletic Director Ron Racey reported this week.

Elementary students to get a lesson in charity, goodwill and economics at
Wal Mart

Fourth grade students at Pieter B. Coeymans will get a real life lesson in mathematics, charity and goodwill, as well as economics Friday in the aisles of Wal Mart.


As reported on Channel 10, toll hike would impact RCS

The proposed hike in Thruway tolls will impact RCS and other schools.


Girl's tennis honors 'phenomenal' year

The girl's tennis team recently celebrated their year with a banquet at Yanni's Too, where Coach Karen Miller praised this year's team and awarded each member with a NYSPHSAA Section 2 patch, along with a tennis pin.
