RCS school administrators are tightening controls on expenses for the remainder of the school year.

Homework club helps motivate students

A program is helping elementary school students complete their homework on time and in a quiet place with the assistance of teachers and volunteers.


Parent group seeks volunteers

Parents of middle and high school students are being sought to take an active role in the combined Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO).


Rats teach students

A.W. Becker Elementary School students were taught a lesson or two by rats on Tuesday.


Board petitions available

Notice is given that petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education must be filed with the District Clerk no later than  Monday, April 14, at 5 p.m.


Two from RCS advance to Capital District Spelling Bee

Two RCS Middle School students will compete next month in the Capital District Regional Spelling Bee after besting schoolmates during a competition on Wednesday.
