RCS moving ahead with district-wide recycling

A district-wide recycling  program will be implemented by early March, RCS Facilities Director Gene Doane said recently.

Swimmers dive into the record books, advance to state competition

The boys swim team broke two RCS records and qualified two swimmers for the state meet during sectional competition last weekend.


Muth named state lottery 'Educator of the Week'

High School Foreign Language Teacher Sharon Muth is being highlighted this school year as a New York State Lottery Educator of the Week.

Scouts donate picnic table to school

Summer may be a distance memory, but when warmer temperatures return to the area, students, parents faculty and staff will have a nice place to eat their lunch at A.W. Becker Elementary School thanks to the generosity of area cub scouts.
