Cast members rehearse for this weekends performance of Quazimodo by the high school Drama Club. The show will be staged Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the High School auditorium.

More than 200 people packed the RCS Aquatics Center on Super Bowl Sunday as a Special Olympics meet drew athletes and supporters from across the Capital Region and beyond.


Board to consider new policy on responding to public comments

Board of Education members said they want to craft a policy that would allow for an immediate response - when appropriate - to public comments during the hearings and petitions portion of board meetings.


Dentist puts a polish on student dental habits

A Ravena dentist will help RCS students polish their tooth care habits during a presentation on Friday.


Ballroom dance program
helps students with poise, grace and maturity

Fifth grade students in RCS’ A.W. Becker Elementary School are learning the art of ballroom dancing in a program designed to improve their body movement skills, confidence and even social graces.


Dozens work to bring Quazimodo to the RCS stage

Dozens of RCS students, faculty and staff members and parent volunteers are working to bring Broadway-worthy performances of a classic tale of love to the RCS stage this weekend.


Parent tot class is scheduled to begin

The ever-popular parent-tot swim class that  teaches youths as young as 18 months the basics of water safety while also providing a bonding experience for parent and child will begin Feb. 27.


High school to stage Quazimodo

The bells will be ringing on the stage of RCS High School February 8-10 as the school's Drama Club stages Quazimodo,.


Crowd learns internet safety at parent information night

Nearly 30 parents and RCS school district residents turned out for the second parent information night of the school year.
