The district launched this week an online Budget Information Center - a tool residents can use to find information on the development of the 2008-09 school yea


Gas prices cause budget bubble at RCS

With five months to go in the school year, gas prices have bubbled to the top of the budget issues for RCS.

RCS Creative Writing students delivered more than two-dozen hand written and illustrated children's books to the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center on Wednesday. For the third time in as many years, RCS Middle School student scientists will compete in the state Science Olympiad competition.

RCS students, faculty and staff turned out in force for Thursday's Red Cross Blood Drive, helping the Student Government Organization surpass its goal of 95 units of blood collected.

Pre-school students at Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School completed a milestone on Wednesday, finishing their 100th book since Jan. 2.
