'Pasta for Poole' is Saturday

A seventh grade student in RCS Middle School is conducting a fundraiser for his former teacher who is now battling a rare form of cancer.


Symposium brings laughter, serious discussion

In one venue, students were left slack-jawed at the tricks and heights reached by a pair of "extreme pogoists." In another section of RCS High School, students were learning how to dress properly to reach new heights on the corporate ladder.

The district is testing its abilities to post web movies of student performances online.

The number of district residents turning to the RCS district website for news and information continues to remain near record levels.

A pair of high school students will perform with Albany ProMusica and orchestra at Troy Music Hall on April 5.

The RCS school district is awaiting word from LaFarge Cement on whether it will test the middle and high school campus for mercury.

The Board of Education will conduct its next budget meeting on March 31, starting at 6 p.m. in the High School

Dozens of RCS junior and senior high school students will represent the district during the Greene County Music Educators Association Spring Music Festival this week.
