PBC to celebrate nature, the
habitat
Students, faculty and staff will celebrate nature and the
environment during a day-long event on May 29 featuring 18

A dozen A.W. Becker
Elementary School ballroom dancing students will compete in
a dance competition in East Greenbush on Sunday.
Transition night scheduled for
in-coming middle school students

sixth grade faculty will host a transition night on May
28 for parents of students in next year's sixth grade
class.

A.W.B. to host habitat cleanup day

staff, as well as community volunteers, in cleaning up the

Board of Education adopts BOCES calendar
The Board of
Education recently adopted the 2008-09 regional BOCES
calendar, but work is still ongoing on the RCS calendar for
next year.
Superintendent
search underway
The search for an
interim superintendent for the RCS school district is
underway and the district's Board of Education is looking to
setup interviews with potential candidates as soon as
possible, board Vice President Cindi Elliott said.
