A.W.B. hosts habitat cleanup day today

Students will join faculty and staff, as well as community volunteers, in cleaning up the A.W Becker Elementary School habitat on Thursday.


Middle school students plant flowers for Memorial Day

A group of RCS Middle School students will develop their green thumbs on Thursday in an effort to help RCS recognize Memorial Day.


National Honor Society ranks to grow

RCS High School’s annual induction ceremony for the  National Honor Society will be Thursday, at 1 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

RCS Middle School students and faculty were be on hand Wednesday at the Deer Mountain Preserve in Coeymans to accept a donation from LaFarge and the Wildlife Habitat Council.


M.S. students give vets thanks with a bang

RCS Middle School students are sending their thanks with a bang to the veterans in the Stratton V.A. Medical Center.

Middle School named "high performing" School; AWB and PBC also earn accolades

RCS Middle School is a "high performing/gap closing" school according to the New York State Education Department.


PBC to celebrate nature, the habitat

Students, faculty and staff will celebrate nature and the environment during a day-long event on May 29 featuring 18 learning stations that focus on everything from owl pellets to the geometry of spiders and woodland instruments.

The STAR Intergen program is hosting a breakfast on June 7 for students and the senior citizen volunteers who make up the program.

Volunteers from SABIC - formerly known as GE Selkirk - helped to spruce up the gardens and wildlife classroom area of the Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School on Thursday
