Several Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School students were honored during a ceremony Wednesday.


PBC students honored for academic success

Four dozen Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School students were honored Wednesday with awards for their academic performance.


Celebrations mark closing days of school

Pomp, circumstance and celebrations were plentiful at RCS this week as students celebrated milestones in their education.


Offices to be closed on Friday

RCS offices will be closed on Friday for a contingent holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday.


Pool schedule notes


Senior class enjoyed a series of firsts at RCS

The last year at RCS brought about a series of firsts for the RCS Class of 2008, which will conclude their 13 years of education in the district on Saturday.


Cheerleading tryouts announced

Tryouts for the JV and Varsity cheerleading squads will be conducted next month.


Girl's basketball camp to be held at RCS next month

The RCS Girls Basketball Camp will run from July 14 through July 18 this year.


RCS urges caution on tax cap

District officials are urging caution among state leaders considering the proposed tax cap.


District Office needs examined

The Board of Education's Buildings and Grounds Committee said it will spend much of the next year focused on what can be done with the dilapidated District Office Building.
