First Day Celebration plans finalized for PBC students, community

Residents are invited to join the children, teachers and administrators of Pieter B. Coeymans on RCS’ First Day of School – Thursday, Sept. 6.

The Board of Education announced on Tuesday that it has concluded its investigation into allegations of health insurance fraud that were leveled against Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Vicki Wright, at a public meeting of the Board of Education held on August 20, 2007.

With the new school year starting next week, RCS maintenance and facilities crews are hard at work ensuring a bright and clean start to the school year.


District reaches milestone - Pre-K classes for all

For the first time, all pre-k students who sought schooling will be served.

A several month search for the right person to fill the newly created Human Resources Administrator post ended this month with the appointment of High School Grades 9/10 Principal Greg Chase to the administrative post.
