RCS AP Biology v.2.0 beta

Welcome to the RCS AP Biology web site. The objective of this site is to be a tool for students to help them through one of the most challenging and rewarding courses of study at RCS. If this is your first time here, you will find the navigation of this site fairly simple. The navigation bar at the side of the page will take you to different areas of interest. A few clicks of the interface should get you started pretty quickly. A brief description of these different areas on the site follows:

Calendar

The calendar is the first place that you should visit if you miss class for any reason. The ideal use of this page would be to catch you up as if you had attended class. Assignments, labs, field trips (psych), tests and special notes from the teacher will be noted for each day of the week.

Contact Teacher

This section is fairly self-explanatory. This is where you go if you need to get into contact with your teacher.

Labs

After checking out the calendar page you'll be able to pick up any labs you may have missed. This is also extremely helpful for those that are absent minded and "accidentally" throw things out.

Links

Some useful links that will help you with biology.

Notes

The notes section of the site is exactly what will be used in lectures. This site is printer friendly, but don't make it a habit to doze in class and print the notes later because it won't help your grades any.

Vocabulary

The vocabulary section is a chapter by chapter layout of the vocabulary words that you should know in order to be optimally prepared for class.
Finally... Remember that biology is good, biology is fun, biology is fun for everyone!
