Fifth grade students give a big “thumbs-up” for their new healthy dessert.

During a hands-on lesson of healthy eating at A.W. Becker, Jodie Fitz from the Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club showed students how to make healthy choices. Each student prepared their own healthy dessert, cinnamon apples with creamy orange dip, from a recipe and instruction provided by Fitz.

After stressing the importance of making healthy choices, Fitz gave each student multiple recipes to tackle at home.
