About ...
RCS School District Buses travels more
than 5,600 miles a day, providing transportation to district
students, as well as students from the district that attend
private schools. The majority of the district's bus runs are
served by a district-owned fleet of 66 buses and suburban's.

Elementary bus
routes incorrect in Chalkboard newsletter
(Aug. 31, 2010) The bus routes in the August
Chalkboard newsletter for AWB and PBC are incorrect. Unfortunately
the printed schedules did not take into account the 9:00 a.m. starting
time. A letter is being sent home to parents today to inform them of the
error. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
The corrected schedules are as follows:

We've added a new set of safety tips for motorists so drivers know how
to safely drive near school buses.

■ Drop-off and pick-up requests:
All students are
scheduled for bus stops near their homes unless the
transportation department has been notified
otherwise. Requests for drop offs and pick up are
NOT carried over from year to year. To make a
request, call your child's school. We will to
everything possible to fulfill the needs of your
child.
