Students donate blood to save lives

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School Natural Helpers/Student Volunteers sponsored a blood driver in collaboration with the American Red Cross, Dec. 1. Students, faculty, staff and community members donated a total of 32 units of blood, saving up to 96 lives. The group will host another blood drive May 17, 2018.

During a hands-on lesson of healthy eating at A.W. Becker, Jodie Fitz from the Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club showed students how to make healthy choices.
