44 RCS Musicians Selected to GCMEA Spring All-County Music Festival

Forty-four middle and high school music students from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk were selected to participate in the Greene County Music Educators Association Spring All-County Music Festival.

The festival concert is being held at 7:30 p.m., on Friday, April 1 at Hunter-Tannersville High School. Students rehearse on Wednesday and return to the festival on Friday for final rehearsals and performance.

Representing RCS in the Junior Chorus are middle school students Jeremy Carrk, Kaden Gransbury, Brielle Mitchell, Hailey Mitchell and Peyton VanDerheyden.

Ninth grade Junior Chorus members from RCS High School include Sarah Eckl, Lauren Evans, Evelyn Hyer, Taylor LaDuke, Evelyn Lawton, Hailey Morgan, Bryan Schwabrow, Mackenzie Therrien, Abigail Varney, Aydin White and Conner Wills.

Sixth-grade students playing in the Elementary Band are Noah Algozzine, Carys Bartlett, Tyler DeMarco, Alyssa Gallogly, Ashley Graff, Lydia Hommel, Izaak King, Maria Morrow, Renee Rivers, Andrew Spinner, Justin Swann, Julianna Tourangeau and Gavin Trosclair.

The Senior Band will include Benjamin Andrews, Marco Bermejo, Katelyn Disorbo, Matthew Hildenbrand, Oscar Jukes, Emmalynn Knapp, Maxwell Knaust-Wood, Logan Pugsley, Kathryn Rowzee, Nicholas Sabatino, Cameron Shackelton Scott VanWormer, Donovan Varney, Hope Vay and Ryan Zampella.

Admission to the festival will be $3 for adults, $2 for student and seniors, and $10 for families.
